Making a Donation through a QCD from an IRA

Individuals age 70½ or older may be eligible to make a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) directly from their IRA to support the campaign. This type of gift can satisfy all or part of your Required Minimum Distribution and may provide tax advantages, as it is transferred directly from your IRA to the Diocese.

To ensure your gift benefits St. Michael Parish, please instruct your IRA administrator to make the distribution payable to the Catholic Sharing Appeal, with “St. Michael Parish Glorious Campaign” noted in the memo.

Checks should be mailed to:
Catholic Sharing Appeal

The Catholic Sharing Appeal office will ensure your gift is properly directed and acknowledged.
